He graduated as the best student of the
bachelor in Industrial Design
at the Javeriana University (Co)
He has a Master's Degree in Design (Corporate Visions) from the Domus Academy in Milan (it), and another Master's Degree in Environmental Designfocused on designing spaces to foster innovation, awarded by the University of Quebec in Montreal (Ca).
He was the youngest Latin American designer in the design department of Phillips / Whirlpool Italy and studied in Europe with a scholarship from the British Council where he obtained a high-level education and training as a product innovator.
As a professor, he has created and managed the Strategic Innovation program for the National University (Co), directed and planned the strategic design and innovation specialization curriculum of the UPB University (Co), and has conducted more than 500 conferences and workshops at universities worldwide , from Concordia in Montreal to the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, among others.
He has received recognition for his designs in various exhibitions, publications and competitions around the world, including the Red Dot design award, the special prize of the jury (coup de Coeur) Arts and business Personality of Montreal, three times the Steel Pencil award, and has being finalist for the America's innovators award among many others.
He's also seasonal faculty in the master's of design for health at the OCAD University (Toronto)
