BOMBARDIER

If we have already conquered the earth, the water, and the snow, how should we conquer the sky?

In our venture, we were inspired by Bombardier's Canadian brand and extreme sports products, which led us to create a new concept. To start, we conducted thorough research in the industry, providing us with abundant information to work with.

Our concept was driven by the target audience of adventurous individuals who enjoy extreme outdoor sports. We aimed to enable them to "fly without wings". This inspiration materialized into the creation of the "Sky Bat", an electric device designed in the shape of a bat, capable of supporting one person at a time. Users would lay down on it, glide and embark on a thrilling 20 minute adventure, limited by the battery duration.

Shown initially at the Latin Design exhibit” we recently found out that our vision was six years ahead of the competition.

The "Sky Bat" concept made its initial debut at the "Latin Design exhibit". Recently, we discovered that our vision had anticipated the competition. In 2014, a group of engineers developed a similar concept called the "Back to the Future hoverboard," which hovered above a metal surface, supporting human weight. This revelation affirmed our claim that we had been the pioneers in this idea.

To inspire engineering teams, we proposed the creation of an air board to Bombardier. This innovative device would float on any surface, allowing users to engage in their best acrobatic movements. We first presented this concept to Bombardier in 2010, with the intention of igniting their engineering team's creativity and drive.
